DEMULISFIER 
 
Demulisifiers are speciality chemicals designed for breaking emulsions under the JOF BRAIK trade name.
They are used for separating water from oil, for example. Demulsifiers are commonly used in the processing
of crude oil, where water and salt are removed from the crude oil before refining, to prevent corrosion issues.
 
JOF BRAIK 6162 W
JOF BRAIK 6162 W is a blend of alkoxylated resins and high molecular weight polyols in an aromatic solvent.
  JOF BRAIK 6162 W has been formulated to give good demulsification and water separation in a range of
medium to high API gravity crudes.  Demulsifiers can however be very selective and should always be
bottle tested before being applied to specific crudes.

JOF BRAIK 6162 Z is a blend of alkoxylated resins and high molecular weight polyols in an aromatic solvent.

formulated to assist in the separation of water in oil emulsions in desalting units thus giving maximum removal of
chlorides and solids.
